A note on privacy.

When you subscribe, your email address, the date and wording of your consent, and whether you signed up through the website or private preview are stored to manage Clayton Herbst’s newsletter. Subscribing is optional.

What your email is for

Your email is used for occasional notes from Clayton and to manage your subscription. It is not sold, shared with campaigns, or added to another mailing list.

Storage and delivery

Subscriber details are stored in a private database. Only services needed to operate the newsletter receive the information they need. The database stores subscriptions; it does not send email on its own.

To limit repeated submissions, the site also stores a hashed network identifier, an attempt count, and an expiry time. Your raw IP address is not stored in the newsletter database.

Change your mind anytime

To unsubscribe or request deletion of your information, email clayton@sapphirestrategies.org from the address you subscribed with. Newsletter messages will include an unsubscribe option.

After you subscribe

The signup form saves your email address and consent. It does not send an automatic welcome email.
